Our maple syrup comes directly from trees on our farm and neighboring forests. As winter slowly turns to spring, we gather maple sap to boil in small batches. The steam rises off while natural sugar increases in concentration. After hours boiling in the pan, we have delicious maple syrup from our native Virginia forests.
At the beginning of the season, the first batch of syrup is golden colored and delicate in flavor. As springtime approaches, the trees add more nutrient compounds to their sap, so the syrup turns amber in color with a rich flavor, while the last batches are darker with robust maple taste.

Our harvest of golden delicate syrup is blended into our wonderfuly complex Maple-Walnut syrup.
Refills: We sell our syrup in glass bottles with hang tags instead of sticky labels. This allows you to reuse the bottle, or bring it to us at the RVA Big Market (Richmond) or Staunton farmer’s markets where we offer a $1 discount for returning your bottle.
